Position Description
Material Handler in Dallas, Texas. Weekly pay, benefits, career you can feel good about.
Responsibilities- Perform warehouse function, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Maintain accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
- Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Team player able to work within a diverse work environment
- Creates and maintains professional relationships within all levels of the organization
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Punctual with good attendance record
Works independently with minimal supervision - High degree of initiative
- High accuracy under pressure
- Ability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Follows health and safety methods
- Available for flexible schedule on various shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
