Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and ensure a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee warehouse personnel, inventory movement, shipping and receiving activities, equipment utilization, and compliance with company policies and customer requirements. This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence, employee development, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees to meet performance and productivity goals.
- Plan labor schedules and allocate resources to support daily operational needs.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate equipment usage and maintenance activities to maximize operational efficiency.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of warehouse staff.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and materials needed for daily operations.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Track operational performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Experience managing warehouse teams and daily operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- SAP experience preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships.
