The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting, inspecting product and notifying leadership of any damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will perform all duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Pick orders using pallet jack, accurately and efficiently, and stage products in the appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products according to client requirements.
- Verify that products and orders meet quality standards and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Execute safety protocols and maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area; assist in security of the warehouse.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and report equipment problems.
- Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Work overtime when required and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse (ranging from mild to moderate).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic to intermediate math skills for inventory quantity verification.
- 6+ months experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Current or prior Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.
Occasional handling/fingering, sitting. Frequent bending. Constant walking and standing. Ability to lift 21–50 pounds, reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
Work EnvironmentLow to moderate noise. Rare exposure to fumes or chemicals.
CompensationHourly rate: $21.95. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
