- Fri, 6am – 2:30pm. OT Required as needed during business days or on Saturdays.
Job Overview:
The Warehouse Associate is an integral part of our team’s success, responsible for operating machinery to move materials around a facility for shipping, processing and receiving. This might include unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stage materials for individual production batches to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Collect and handle small samples for laboratory, microbiological, and assay testing, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Transfer outdated and expired materials to designated containers, following established protocols for proper disposal.
- Conduct inventory audits and consolidate materials as necessary to maintain accurate inventory records and optimize storage space.
- Assign appropriate storage locations for newly received materials to facilitate easy access and inventory management.
- Resolve discrepancies in inventory and materials through effective problem-solving techniques and collaboration with relevant departments.
- Prepare and complete detailed destruction reports to document the disposal of materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive annual physical inventory assessments to verify stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
Qualifications &
Experience:
● 2-3 years warehouse and box truck driving experience. Clean driving record required
● Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, Order Picker, Scissor Lifts, floor scrubbers and other Misc warehouse equipment
● 3 to 5 years experience with Stand-up forklift/Reach truck
● Must be able to lift between 35-55lbs repeatedly
● Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems, as well as UPS and Fedex systems
● Team player with organizational skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong organizational and time management skills
● Knowledge of Google suite or Microsoft office programs,, Word and Excel.
