Role is part of our Pierce Chemicals division.
Position OverviewThe position is responsible for the accurate receiving, storage, fulfillment, and shipping of funeral-related products while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Working collaboratively with warehouse personnel, customer service teams, and shipping partners, this individual ensures orders are processed accurately, prepared on time, and delivered according to customer expectations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, team-focused, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment while contributing to a culture of reliability, quality, and customer service excellence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Shipping and receiving funeral related products
- Pull orders for shipping or customer pick-up by determining part number and quantity – proof order – prep for shipping
- Ensure products are processed and directed to correct couriers based on shipping priorities
- Work with Inside Sales Reps to ensure orders are correct and processed so all daily duties are completed by the end of the day
- Receiving of product, stocking inventory and inventory counts
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy while delivering to our customers
- Able to understand and execute all instructions on a customer's order
- Team Oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Experience with manual or electric pallet jack, two-wheel dolly and forklift
- 2+ Years of shopping or warehouse experience preferred
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
- Able to work independently as well as on a team
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Lifting, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, kneeling and squatting for short periods of time
