The Material Handler & Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing supplies and client orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery across the organization.
This role supports daily warehouse operations and plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, fulfilling internal and external customer requests, and ensuring uninterrupted laboratory and operational workflows. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Pick, pull, and stage materials for internal departments and client orders
- Accurately pack and prepare orders for delivery or shipment
- Ensure correct quantities and product selection for every order
- Deliver supplies to designated work centers or client areas
- Obtain required signatures and/or delivery documentation
- Prepare outbound shipments and apply shipping labels
- Generate shipment documentation and maintain logs
- Coordinate pickups with couriers and carriers
- Track and document shipped items
- Record inventory movements in tracking systems
- Assist with end of the month inventory counts and periodic inventory audits
- Identify low-stock items and communicate replenishment needs
- Support inventory accuracy
- Follow safety, quality, and data protection policies
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials or information
- Adhere to regulatory and company procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives

- Receive inbound shipments and verify items against packing slips
- Inspect materials for accuracy, damage, and completeness
- Label, organize, and stock inventory in assigned storage locations
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas
- Rotate stock and follow proper storage procedures

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience- 1+ year of warehouse, fulfillment, or materials handling experience preferred
- Experience with shipping systems or inventory software preferred
- Healthcare or laboratory environment experience a plus
- Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout shift
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

- Occasionally handling boxes and supplies up to 100 lbs
- Regular use of hands for handling and stocking supplies
