The Event & Warehouse Crew Member supports the physical preparation, transportation, setup, breakdown, and return of event inventory and equipment. Crew members may be scheduled for warehouse shifts, event sets and strikes, or other operational assignments based on our event calendar and business needs.

This is a hands-on, physically active position that includes loading and unloading vehicles, moving furniture and event equipment, preparing inventory for transport, setting and striking events, and returning items to their proper warehouse locations.

Primary Responsibilities

Assignments will vary and may include:

Event Set & Strike

  • Load and unload event furniture, equipment, and rental inventory.
  • Assist with event setup according to provided layouts, instructions, and direction from Event Managers and Crew Leads.
  • Set tables, chairs, lounge furniture, bars, staging elements, and other event equipment.
  • Assist with event strikes, including breakdown, packing, loading, and transportation of event inventory.
  • Handle rental inventory carefully to prevent damage during loading, transportation, setup, and breakdown.
  • Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete sets and strikes within scheduled timelines.

Warehouse & Logistics

  • Pull and stage furniture, equipment, and rental inventory for upcoming events.
  • Prepare carts and inventory for loading and transportation.
  • Load and unload company vehicles and rental trucks.
  • Return event inventory to designated warehouse locations following events.
  • Assist with receiving and unloading incoming rental orders and equipment.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and loading areas.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling, moving, and securing inventory.
Position Requirements
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently and assist with team lifting and moving heavier furniture, equipment, and event inventory, which may exceed 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry items for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, loading areas, trucks, and event venues.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work efficiently and safely as part of a team.
  • Availability for a varied schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays depending on the event schedule.
  • Reliable transportation to warehouse or designated reporting location.
  • Previous events, warehouse, moving, installation, delivery, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.

Experienced crew members may be selected to serve as Crew Leads (driver or non-driver) for warehouse shifts, event sets, strikes, deliveries, or other assignments.

Crew Lead responsibilities may include:

  • Providing direction to assigned crew members.
  • Reviewing event pull sheets, layouts, and assignment details.
  • Coordinating loading, transportation, setup, and strike activities.
  • Communicating with Event Managers and Operations regarding progress, changes, or issues.
  • Driving company-owned or rented vehicles when assigned.
  • Helping ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and within scheduled timelines.

Crew members considered for positions requiring operation of company or rental vehicles must possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. A background check and/or motor vehicle record check may be required for Crew Lead positions.

Schedule

This is an on-call/as-needed position with hours determined by our event calendar and operational needs. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary significantly from week to week. Available assignments may include warehouse preparation, event sets, event strikes, deliveries, pickups, and other event logistics support.
