Job SummaryThis position is responsible for directing the colleges student admissions functions.

- Trains, assigns, directs, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines personnel.
- Resolves human resources issues.
- Manages department budget.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures.
- Directs the maintenance of department files and databases.
- Develops and oversees annual admission enrollment goals.
- Develops and oversees the implementation of recruitment plans.
- Develops and oversees the implementation of communication plans.
- Directs the creation of publications and print pieces.
- Resolves escalated admissions issues.
- Executes admissions processing and decisions.
- Monitors processing volumes and accuracy.
- Monitors progress toward institutional admissions goals.
- Performs the duties of other department staff as needed.
- Completes High School Curriculum Unit evaluations for non-accredited and homeschool students.
- Serves on a variety of campus and community committees.
- Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders, including local high schools.
- Masters degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required.
- More than five years of related experience required.
- Knowledge of college policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.
- Knowledge of University System of Georgia policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Family Education Rights and Privacy Act guidelines.
- Knowledge of college recruitment principles.
- Knowledge of budget management principles.
- Skill in decision making and problem solving.
- Skill in supervising the work of personnel.
- Skill in the completion of a variety of reports.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
