Respiratory Therapist​/Nurse

Overview

Conva Care Services is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Registered Nurse to join a growing team. The employee will be responsible for the setup of home medical equipment—including ventilators, monitors, CPAP/BiPAP units, and other related devices—and educating patients on proper use of prescribed equipment.

• Set up, operate, and provide education on home medical equipment that includes CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and mechanical ventilators
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure it is functioning safely and efficiently
• Review prescriptions and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment, compatible with physician orders
• Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant therapy concepts
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed, with frequency determined by center size and staff availability
