Overview
Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities- Direct the Human Resources and Professional Development Departments and ensure that the departments are operating successfully under all laws, regulations, standards and statutes.
- Evaluate and revise policies, procedures, employee handbooks, processes and technical assistance.
- Ensure sound/evidence-based recruitment practices are in place including those for physicians and NPs.
- Research factors influencing retention and recruitment and find solutions.
- Ensure employment offers are completed accurately.
- Determine approvals for position requests, including pay rate changes and pay scales.
- Review and revise the compensation structure and pay scales as needed.
- Have expert knowledge in employment law and work closely with legal counsel on EEOC cases and employment related lawsuits.
- Conduct employee relations activities including mediating conflict and adverse actions.
- Coordinate staff satisfaction surveys and implement processes for corrective action that may be needed.
- Abide by the Executive Team Agreements established by the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education – bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Experience – 3 – 5 years' experience in a director level.
- Experience – 5 - 8 years’ experience in Human Resources Management.
- Experience – 5 or more years working in a healthcare environment.
- Education – master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Licensure/Certification – SHRM-CP
- Experience – 10+ years
