What we need:

The Sr Cloud Architect is a subject matter expert that is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing advanced cloud architecture solutions that support business goals and scalability. This role designs, implements, and maintains scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on a global scale.

What you’ll do:
  • Designs and implements robust, scalable, and secure cloud architecture solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) integrated with Git Hub workflows.
  • Partners with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
  • Provide architect oversite, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Review and approve architectural designs and implementations for application solutions focusing on operational efficiency, security and compliance.
  • Leads cloud infrastructure planning, including system design, integration, and migration efforts.
  • Evaluates and selects cloud services and platforms to meet organizational needs.
  • Oversees the implementation of best practices for cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Develops and enforces architectural standards, guidelines, and governance policies.
  • Collaborates with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Monitors cloud systems for performance, reliability, and scalability, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Research emerging cloud technologies and trends, advising on their potential impact and application.
  • Provides mentorship and technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Proactively assess new technologies and capacity planning to meet escalating business demands by project and environment.
  • Continuous improvement and implementation of Git Hub environments.
  • Manages large cross-functional projects or processes.
  • Aligns new solutions to the current architectural principles regarding standards and integration in the organization.
  • Leverages creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues.
  • Contributes to departmental strategy and goal development.
  • Creatively and strategically supports key business objectives.
  • Participates in and may manage large, cross-functional projects or initiatives with strategic importance.
  • Performs high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering, and application of business knowledge.
  • Generates fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new approaches that create value in the market.
  • Proactively investigates and/or lead investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
What we need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 8-10 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, monitoring).
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Git Hub and tools like Terraform or Bicep.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking (VNETs, VPNs, Express Route, firewalls, DNS, load balancers).
  • Working knowledge of Dev Ops principles and agile methodologies.
  • Preferred experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Preferred certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Preferred familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
