This is ONSITE 5 days a week in Dalton, GA

Responsible for providing Tier 3 technical support for a wide range of Endpoints and Devices in a timely manner. Including but not limited to Windows Server, Windows Desktop and other devices i.e. tablets and cameras. Analyzes hardware and software issues. Maintain positive relationships with other IT teams, customers, and vendors. Deploys and Maintains OS Provisioning images, software deployments, and automation scripts.

Seek ways to automate. Mentor and shadow those around you. Recommend technology solutions in area of End User computing.

Major Function and Scope:
  • Third level Endpoint support and Windows Server support, including installation and troubleshooting for local & remote locations including computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Use of the IT Service Management solution to track, update, and close tickets.
  • Manages 3rd party vendors providing services.
  • Maintain and test latest hardware and software revisions and or patches (includes research of known hardware and software bugs).
  • Support special projects involving travel when the need arises.
  • Work closely with IS Management, Support Center personnel and other IS technical and applications staff.
  • Mentor junior staff providing on-the-job training experiences for them.
  • Work small to large infrastructure projects completing them in a timely manner. Be able to build automatic installation packages, and Windows scripting as needed.
  • Work as a team to maintain the SLA of incoming tickets in the queue.
  • Includes the recovery and disposition of non-used systems and the upkeep of the lab area.
Type of Experience and Knowledge:
  • At least 4 years of strong technical experience including providing Endpoint support directly to the business client are required.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree in a technology or business-related discipline or an Associate’s Degree in a technology or equivalent.

Must be familiar with the following technologies:

  • Windows Server OS Platform:
    Image builds, patch baselines, WSUS/SCCM, OS hardening
  • VSphere/VM management
  • FTP Environment:
    Provisioning, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
  • Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online:
    Exchange, Teams, SharePoint/One Drive, compliance & retention
  • Email Security: SEG/MDO, anti-phish/spam/malware, DMARC/DKIM/SPF policies

Infoblox

  • Programming or scripting experience is a plus.
