salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year

  • Manage outbound shipments to customers and inbound deliveries from suppliers, including high-volume Mexico-to-USA lanes across all modes (LTL, FTL, dedicated, expedites).
  • Oversee Mexico-to-USA cross-border processes, coordinating with customs brokers, managing drayage, and monitoring border wait times and detention risks.
  • Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with U.S. and Mexico-based carriers while optimizing cross-border routing to reduce freight spend.
  • Ensure on-time delivery performance for OEM and automotive manufacturing customers, serving as the primary escalation point for logistics or customs issues.
  • Lead and develop the shipping and receiving team, providing guidance, support, and daily performance direction.
  • Oversee preparation and accuracy of shipping and cross-border documents, including BOLs, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, USMCA documentation, and pedimentos.
  • Utilize ERP, TMS, and EDI systems to manage shipments, track inventory movements, and maintain accurate ASNs.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, CBP rules, and Mexican customs laws while supporting internal and regulatory audits.
  • Develop, monitor, and report transportation KPIs such as on-time delivery, carrier scorecards, transit performance, and freight cost per unit.
