Job Function / Description

19:30 pm – 07:30 am

1. Operational Oversight and Execution
  • Manage nightly operations on the production floor to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Coordinate raw material handling and finished goods processes with RM and FG Managers for night‑shift activities.
  • Monitor material and product flow to ensure production schedules are met without interruptions during the night.
  • Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office Excel to track inventory movements and monitor nightly production progress.
  • Ensure all equipment and machinery function correctly, reporting any nighttime issues to the maintenance team immediately.
  • Adjust operational plans as needed to address changes in production needs or unexpected order volumes during the night shift.
2. Team Supervision and Development
  • Supervise and lead production and warehouse staff during the night shift, maintaining high productivity and accuracy.
  • Provide on‑the‑job training and guidance to night‑shift team members to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor team performance, deliver feedback, and take corrective actions as needed to maintain efficiency during overnight operations.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive nighttime work environment, encouraging teamwork and effective communication among staff.
3. Quality Control and Compliance
  • Verify that raw materials and finished goods meet quality standards before production or shipment during the night shift.
  • Enforce safety standards and policies, ensuring all team members follow proper procedures to maintain a safe night-shift environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to confirm compliance with health regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies during night operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of nighttime safety checks, quality inspections, and any incidents occurring during the shift.
4. Communication and Coordination
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the production floor and RM/FG Managers for night‑shift operations.
  • Report nightly shift performance, issues, and any deviations from production plans to RM/FG Managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other shift leaders to ensure smooth transitions and operational continuity between night and day shifts.
  • Provide updates on inventory levels, production progress, and potential bottlenecks that could impact subsequent shifts.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting
  • Maintain detailed records of night‑shift activities, including production output, material usage, and any issues encountered.
  • Compile and present shift reports to RM/FG Managers, emphasizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in implementing data quality checks to ensure accurate and consistent reporting of night‑shift operations.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track nighttime performance metrics, offering insights to optimize future night‑shift processes.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma with extensive experience or higher degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a production or warehouse environment, with a focus on team leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Relevant industry knowledge, particularly in material handling, production, and inventory management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PPT, Excel, Word) and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and make quick decisions to ensure operational continuity.
  • Required to work on site.
