What

We Need

Mohawk is looking for a Dye Lab Technician in the Dalton, Ga area. In this role, you will review, organize, order and schedule accordingly to run on the Dye line.

What You’ll Do
  • Sort, review, and organize dye schedule orders
  • Controls gathering orders, pulls folders for orders to be ran
  • Maintain and file carpet samples
  • Go through drop styles
  • Enter orders into AS400 to create schedules
  • Communicate schedules and orders with the team
  • Make adds to orders based on needs through Formula Management application
  • Create Insta Color and AS400 schedule
  • Run dye calculations for dye weighers
  • Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management
What You Have
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledgeable in Excel
  • Knowledgeable in AS400 and Formula Management
  • Familiar with Chemical SDS
  • LTO certification
  • Comprehension Insta-Color schedule
What You’re Good At
  • Good work and attendance records
  • Written and verbal communication skills
What else?
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 - pound packages to a height of 72 inches.
  • Must also be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.
