Responsibilities
  • Safely produces and monitors a quality product to documented standards in the quantities specified by standards and the production schedule.
  • Responsible for personal safety and monitor the safety of others.
  • Follow-up the overall discipline and neatness on the work floor.
  • Performs required housekeeping.
  • Responsible for optimizing production volume.
  • Responsible for optimizing production quality.
  • Troubleshoot line/product problems related to job position.
  • Assist team members if needed.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Must know and monitor execution of the quality management system policy and procedures.
  • Communicate with previous shift profilers about key information.
  • Identify and communicate when extra training is needed for people on the lines.
  • Ability to monitor profiles in the milling operation using optical comparator and other quality tools and make adjustments as needed.
  • Shift Reports and Communication with supervisor.
  • Changes and adjusts tooling as required.
  • Makes required adjustments to maintain quality of product.
  • Monitors product and process to ensure quality of product to documented procedures.
  • Complies with all company safety rules and procedures.
  • Records and reports quality checks and issues.
  • Coordinates and executes to published schedule.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • MUST be able to assemble planks together in the floor.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Achieves minimum acceptable levels on computer assessments.
  • Able to use basic measurement tools (i.e. Calipers, micrometers, microscope, tape measure).
  • Lead/Management experience preferred.
  • Good people skills.
  • Basic Computer skills.
  • Good Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand for long periods of time; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk; and hear.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include color vision, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
  • Exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
