Certified FINAL Inspector - 3rd Shift; Dalton, Georgia,

What We Need

Mohawk is looking for a Certified Final Inspector in the Calhoun, Ga area. You will inspect carpet for defects and tag defects.

• Distinguish between quality & off‑quality carpet
• Verify the style & color number are correct by using a deckboard
• Measure the width of each greige good roll
• Clean or repair defects when able
• Enter roll information onto computer
• Attend any job‑related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• No prior experience required.
• Reads and writes in standard English and proficient in performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.
• Successful completion of all required on‑the‑job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.

• Must be an effective team member.
• Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others in the immediate work unit and in related support areas.
• Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.

• Ability to lift or move 50 lbs
• Ability to pass color vision test
• Must be capable of frequently stepping on and off cat‑walk
