Viridian Fibers Plant 2 - Dalton, GA 30721
Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly
OverviewJob Summary:
The material handler will be in charge of moving the necessary materials to the machines to keep all the extrusion machines running, and will also be responsible for pulling production pallets to pack them and placing them in the warehouse.
- Before starting to operate the Hyster, perform the inspection required by the company.
- Supply the lines with the required materials according to the setup sheet.
- Weigh production pallets and pack them.
- Weigh waste pallets and pack them, and weigh the waste box as well.
- Print production and waste pallet tickets, and print tickets for the waste box.
- Provide support to operators when necessary.
- Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that may be assigned as needed.
Starting Base Rate: $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods of standing
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Work in high heat temperatures
