To ensure safe and efficient downloading of raw materials into their assigned storage locations; to provide support to the Compounding Supervisor, Lead, and Operator; and to ensure proper housekeeping is maintained throughout the department.

• Responsible for personal safety and the safety of coworkers; report unsafe acts immediately.
• Responsible for safety, quality, and production.
• Complete assigned paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Report any mechanical or electrical issues to the Supervisor or Maintenance immediately; notify the Supervisor if equipment is down longer than 30 minutes and notify the Plant Manager if down longer than 1 hour.
• Perform periodic maintenance as instructed.
• Follow all procedures.
• Load correct materials into hoppers.
• Perform quality assurance tasks such as emptying dust collectors and vacuum canisters.
• Maintain cleanliness of the assigned floor of the mixing tower and the silo farm, tanker bay, and raw material shipping docks.
• Download raw materials from bulk carriers promptly.
• Contain and report any spills or material releases to supervision.
• Take batch samples when instructed.
• Perform 6S in the department.
• Report low inventory on materials needed for production.
• Work with a sense of urgency, avoid distractions (e.g., cell phone usage), and accomplish all tasks to keep production running efficiently.
• Accomplish any tasks assigned by the Lead or Supervisor.

• Physical demands: while performing duties, the employee must stand for long periods, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include color vision, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work environment: while performing duties, the employee is exposed to weather conditions at the time. The noise and dust level may be high.
