Production Manager, Production QC/QA
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading and motivating the production team to exceed goals and monitoring the day‑to‑day production activities to ensure that production efficiency goals are being met, safety protocols are being followed, and quality product is being produced. The role directly supervises 20‑30 hourly employees, plans and controls production performance as measured against operating targets developed according to machine capabilities, manpower capabilities and projected business, ensures compliance to established customer quality and production standards, and actively leads and participates in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S and lean manufacturing programs.
Responsibilities- Address mechanical, operation, and technical downtime issues within the department.
- Train, motivate and mentor employees.
- Supervise employees in the day‑to‑day operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
- Maintain and improve production throughput and work with the Production Manager to maintain direct labor costs.
- Ensure company policies, quality procedures, and good manufacturing policies are implemented, understood, and followed.
- A four‑year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work‑related experience.
- Experience in Blown Film Industry.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role with a strong background in blown film and production floor supervision.
- Ability to work any shift as needed.
