Blending Operator I| Sunday - Thursday

Position Overview

This position is Sunday
- Thursday 11pm-7am.

Responsibilities:

• Transport bales of fiber using a squeeze lift, make partial bales according to a recipe, and load bales onto a conveyor.
• Remove chokes from carding willows, bearings, piping, belts, chains, valves, bin emptiers, aprons, fans, and hump magnets.
• Ensure correct shop orders and blends are being fed to the line for processing.
• Assist card operators in changeovers.
• Operate computerized blend valve system.
• Assist technicians and mechanics in performing maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Clean equipment as many times per shift as needed.
• Drive a lift truck as many times per shift as needed.
• Adhere to normal work schedule and work overtime as required.
