salary: $65,000 - $88,000 per year

- Develop and issue work orders within the MRP system based on sales orders and production forecasts. Sequence orders efficiently by factoring in tooling setups, changeovers, and equipment availability to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Lead daily production meetings to assign priority tasks such as tool changeovers, repairs, and staffing requirements. Partner with quality and engineering teams to address corrective actions and clear parts on hold status.
- Establish key planning parameters including lead times, lot sizes, minimum order quantities, and re-order points. Maintain supplier portals, monitor vendor delivery performance, and expedite critical shipments as needed.
- Process customer EDI and manual order entries while working alongside operations to accurately forecast production based upon customer needs. Determine priorities during material or labor shortages to balance competing customer deadlines.
- Serve as a backup for procurement activities, preparing and updating purchase orders to align with real-time material demand. Participate in physical inventory counts and identify cost-saving initiatives across scheduling operations.
