RN Clinical Lead
The RN Clinical Lead will plan, organize, supervise and lead the day to day operations of clinical staff in the outpatient clinic ensuring the optimal quality patient and family centered care. This includes staff leadership in clinical processes, staffing, scheduling, training, workflow process, quality improvement and risk reduction initiatives.
In addition to the leadership responsibilities, the RN Clinical Lead will fulfill the duties of the practice nurse. Practice nurse duties include preparing patients for provider visits, assisting providers with patient care needs, controlling patient flow, following established protocols for patient care, assisting with routine procedures, coordinating patient care orders, managing patient phone calls, test result follow ups, prescription requests and any other miscellaneous patient care issues.

Job Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
Licensure:
Current RN License in the State of Georgia, Current CPR Certification
Experience:
5 years prior experience in acute care with 1 years of supervisory experience required, preferably in a hospital setting
Clinical knowledge as a Registered Nurse in the same or similar clinical specialty preferred
Wound Management Certification desirable
Skills:
Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia, Knowledge of clinical patient care, the ability to use critical thinking skills, highly organized with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting, demonstrates evidence of exceptional leadership skills, positive communication, and collaboration with patients, families and other health care team members, maintains core values that are consistent with quality patient/ family centered care, and maintains a positive attitude toward other team members
