Located in Dalton, GA, this position operates from 7am to 4pm. We are looking for a skilled Quality Manager who possesses deep expertise in ISO standards and practical quality assurance experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing customer site visits and audits, while ensuring that all products strictly adhere to quality specifications prior to being shipped.
Core Duties:- Oversee the upkeep of ISO quality documentation and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate and guide customer-facing audits and facility inspections.
- Examine components to ensure they align with technical blueprints and established quality benchmarks.
- Supervise QA/QC workflows to guarantee that all items undergo thorough inspection before they are dispatched.
- Detect quality deviations and execute necessary corrective measures to resolve them.
- Support ongoing improvement efforts by maintaining accurate and comprehensive quality records.
- Demonstrated background in Quality Management and the application of ISO standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and performing detailed inspections.
- Direct experience engaging with clients during site visits or formal audits.
- Background in manufacturing or production-based quality environments is preferred.
- Possession of an ISO certification is considered an advantage, though not mandatory.
- High level of precision and the ability to effectively manage both ISO compliance and hands-on quality control tasks.
We are looking for a professional who can communicate ISO requirements to auditors with confidence while simultaneously performing physical verification to ensure every part meets customer expectations.
- Background in Quality Inspection
- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Experience with AS9100 Quality Systems
- Practical Quality Control expertise
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Certification
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Experience working with AS9100 standards
- Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Utilization of Quality Control software systems
