Are you ready to make an impact in the world of commercial interiors? The Patcraft team is hiring in Rhode Island! As an Account Executive, you’ll work closely with architects, designers, business owners, and contractors to bring high‑quality flooring solutions to life.
This individual will cover accounts in Rhode Island and Central Massachusetts and will call on all commercial segments & channels.
- Work with architects, designers, flooring contractors, end users, and other stakeholders to select appropriate products that fit within design criteria, budget, and timeframe.
- Travel daily throughout the assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, including identifying opportunities, product selection, specification, order placement, order tracking, delivery coordination, installation oversight, punch walk/claim coordination (if necessary), and communication of maintenance program.
- Motivate and support a closely knit team environment.
- Work with and manage the customer base through the CRM tool such as
- Follow up on leads from sources such as Dodge & networking groups.
- Build relationships with existing and new customers by providing lunches, dinners, or special events.
- Implement the selling process in the assigned area, making good judgment decisions.
- Understand the product line and the application that each product serves.
- Communicate with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Give presentations to architects, designers, and end‑users to educate them on the flooring industry and how Patcraft can benefit them on their projects.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 3+ years of commercial interiors experience OR 5+ years of professional work experience.
- Current resident of Rhode Island.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree. - Demonstrated success in new business development, including prospecting, pipeline creation, and securing new accounts to expand territory presence.

Work shift:
8 hour non‑rotating shift. Hours fall to in‑punch day, observed calendar, shift starts AM.
