Shaw Sports Turf Territory Manager - Maryland, DC & Delaware
Position OverviewA North American leader in synthetic turf development, Shaw Sports Turf has more than 4,000 successful installations ranging from high school to college to professional surfaces. We are seeking a dynamic Territory Manager to cultivate strong relationships with new and existing end‑use customers within the Maryland, DC, & Delaware market, develop distributor, installation, and construction partners within the local market, and present Shaw’s products, systems, and solutions to end users and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Use a consultative approach with end users, distributors, contractors, architects, engineers, etc., to select appropriate systems that fit budget, usage requirements, and time frame.
- Establish and maintain relationships and grow distribution partners.
- Travel throughout the assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers to solicit business.
- Build relationships with existing and new customers by hosting lunches, dinners, or special events.
- Attend regional and national conventions when required.
- Establish a presence and relationships with end‑use networking groups in your territory.
- Maintain a full understanding of the product line, procurement processes, and sports field construction.
- Work effectively in a remote environment with a widespread support team.
- Use a CRM tool such as and other digital environments to manage the territory.
- Communicate with diverse customers in a friendly and respectable manner.
- Understand basic biomechanics and sports science principles and communicate those to customers concisely.
- Operate in a complex, long sales process using a solutions mindset with autonomy.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 5+ years of previous outside sales experience or completion of a qualified sales training program.
- 50% to 75% travel required.
- Must reside within the territory.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in athletic field construction or comparable.
- Experience selling in the public sector.
- Experience in the athletic industry.

8‑hour non‑rotating shift, hours fall to in‑punch day, observed calendar, shift starts AM.
