Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Dalton, GA. The Salesperson will engage directly with customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate Auto Mats and accessories to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include managing walk-in and phone inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records in the sales system. The role also involves building and nurturing relationships with new and existing accounts, collaborating with operations to ensure timely delivery, and staying current on product features and industry trends.
The Salesperson will support merchandising efforts, participate in promotional activities, and contribute to meeting individual and team sales targets.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with a diverse customer base.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including experience closing deals, handling objections, and working toward defined sales goals.
- Basic business and administrative skills, such as order processing, recordkeeping, and using point-of-sale or CRM systems.
- Product knowledge and learning agility, with the ability to understand technical features of automotive mats and accessories and explain them in simple terms.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customer requests, follow up on leads, and meet deadlines.
- Comfort working in an on-site retail or showroom environment; willingness to stand, move products, and assist with displays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in retail, automotive, or manufacturing-related sales is preferred but not required.
