What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or operational irregularities.

* Monitor entry and exit points, verify badges, visitor logs, and/or delivery activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

* Support site rules and reporting processes by observing facility conditions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with incident reports, shift handoff notes, and other required records.

Minimum Requirements:

* Access control and badge experience is preferred.

* Loss prevention experience is preferred.

* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* Alarm panel experience is preferred.

* A guard card and/or license is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
