This is a full-time, on-site Welders–Pipe Fitters role based in Dalton, GA. The position involves installing, assembling, and repairing piping systems, including steam and other industrial lines, according to blueprints and specifications. Daily tasks include measuring, cutting, and preparing pipe, performing TIG and other welding processes, fitting and securing pipe connections, and inspecting completed work to ensure quality and safety compliance.

Welders–Pipe Fitters collaborate with supervisors and crew members to plan work sequences, maintain tools and equipment, and follow all company and regulatory safety procedures. The role may require working in varied industrial environments, standing for extended periods, and lifting materials and equipment as needed.

• Strong pipe and pipe fitting skills, including measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling various types of industrial piping.
• Proficiency in welding, with hands-on experience in TIG welding and other common welding techniques used in industrial settings.
• Experience working with steam and related high-pressure systems, with an understanding of safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications for mechanical and piping layouts.
• Commitment to safe work practices, including use of appropriate PPE and adherence to OSHA and company safety policies.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant trade or vocational training in welding, pipe fitting, or industrial maintenance; certifications in welding are a plus.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting, bending, working at heights, and in varying conditions.
