The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician with a strong electrical background to independently install commission maintain and repair complex electrical systems and equipment at customer sites This senior level role requires advanced troubleshooting skills sound technical judgment and the ability to serve as a trusted technical resource for customers and junior technicians A strong commitment to safety quality and customer service is essential
What you will doLead installation commissioning testing and complex troubleshooting of electrical systems equipment and controls at customer locations
Perform advanced preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Interpret and apply electrical schematics wiring diagrams and technical documentation to diagnose issues and recommend corrective actions
Provide expert level technical support and guidance to customers and less experienced technicians
Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings recommendations and service requirements
Complete all service reports documentation and work orders with accuracy and attention to detail
Ensure all work meets electrical codes safety standards and company policies
Maintain tools equipment and service vehicle to professional standards
Support on call emergency response and high priority service needs as required
Work in a field based role with frequent travel to customer locations including industrial manufacturing and outdoor environments
Work occasional overtime weekends or on call support depending on customer needs
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in Electrical Technology preferred5 years of experience in electrical installation maintenance commissioning or field service in an industrial or commercial environment
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems including motors controls automation and power distribution
Demonstrated proficiency interpreting electrical diagrams schematics and technical manuals
Strong independent problem solving abilities with the ability to diagnose complex issues
Excellent communication customer service and time management skills
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to customer sites
OSHA or other electrical safety certifications preferred
