The Shelter Resident Transition (SRT) Service Associate (SA) is an operational position assigned temporarily during disaster relief operations. SRT Caseworkers work with shelter residents to understand their resources and transition roadblocks, helping households create an individualized action plan to move from the shelter to more sustainable living.
This role supports the mission of the American Red Cross by shortening displacement time and jump starting longer-term recovery for communities
