Overview

SUMMARY: Add Bac, LLC, a leading carpet company based in Dalton, GA, is seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Truck Driver to handle local and regional deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate will operate company trucks in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring timely transport of carpet rolls, materials, and supplies between facilities, customer locations, and vendors. Professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety are essential.

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver and pick up carpet, materials, and related products.
• Transport goods to and from Add Bac, LLC facilities, customer sites, suppliers, and warehouses.
• Load, secure, and unload carpet rolls and other freight using proper material-handling equipment and methods.
• Ensure all deliveries are accurate, on schedule, and documented properly.

• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and state/federal transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and paperwork, including Bills of Lading, delivery receipts, and inspection reports.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and operate equipment responsibly.

• Represent Add Bac, LLC with professionalism at all customer and vendor locations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding arrival times, delays, or issues.
• Assist customers with unloading when necessary and ensure products are delivered in good condition.

• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned trucks and trailers.
• Assist in the warehouse or yard as needed, including staging materials for delivery.
• Report hazards, incidents, or product issues to management immediately.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle carpet rolls or materials safely.
• Ability to read and understand delivery paperwork, routes, and schedules.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, straps, and other load-securement tools.
• Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience, preferably in flatbed, dry van, or roll-based cargo.
• Experience transporting carpet, flooring materials, or oversized rolls is a plus.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
