Overview

Lead PHP/Laravel Engineer | Help Modernize Core Data & Rights Systems (Hybrid SF). This Jobot Job is hosted by:
Charles Simmons. Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 per year.

• Lead backend engineering focused on publishing, overseeing backend development, API design, and system migrations.
• Rebuild legacy applications in Laravel to create faster, more reliable, and more automated workflows.
• Work with data-driven systems, third-party integrations, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to modernize core data and rights systems.

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong experience with system migrations, data modeling, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with JavaScript for light frontend integration or API testing is a plus.
• Proven ability to work with legacy codebases and refactor for modern frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building data-intensive or transactional systems.
