What You'll Do

• Build and manage Master Production Schedules (MPS)
• Balance demand, inventory, labor, machine capacity, and material availability
• Run and analyze MRP to ensure components are available when needed
• Identify bottlenecks, shortages, and capacity constraints before they impact production
• Optimize inventory levels while maintaining service and production goals
• Release and manage production work orders
• Manage purchasing activities for assigned materials and suppliers
• Lead material planning for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and New Product Introductions (NPI)
• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs using JDE, Power BI, and Excel
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams
• Mentor Buyer Planner I and Buyer Planner II team members

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
• 5+ years of production planning, scheduling, materials management, or supply chain experience
• Advanced knowledge of MPS, MRP, capacity planning, and inventory management
• Strong ERP/MRP experience (JDE preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP functions
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Leadership mindset with experience mentoring others
• Manufacturing experience required

• JD Edwards (JDE) expertise
• Power BI experience
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• ECO and NPI planning experience
• ERP/MRP Super User experience
