Risk Manager/Analyst
Plans, executes & leads planning and performance management (P&PM) analytical activities under the broad guidance of higher-level P&PM staff and supervisors of his organization, particularly in resolving complex, cross-functional, non-routine and/or design issues. Assigned Risk Professionals plan and coordinate risk management activities in accordance with the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerforms the principal duties as stated above but focused on risk management. The risk management focus includes: acts as the business's principal advisor on risk management, and guides, supports, facilitates, monitors, reviews and reports on risk management activities to ensure that risk management processes are efficient and effective, and integrated into P&PM practices.
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline. Nine (9) years related experience is required.
Preferred TrainingSolid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance and Excel is required. Demonstrated capability and track record in the practice of planning & performance management and in the use of business intelligence tools are required. Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred. For assigned Risk Professionals, demonstrable knowledge of leading risk management governance and control practices is required.
Six (6) years of direct risk management-related experience is required. Possession of a relevant professional certification (e.g., IRM, GARP, PRIA) is preferred.
