Sr Financial Analyst

Basic Function

Directly handles complex, non‑routine financial or banking projects and any other Treasury Services activities. Develops and interprets data used in highly technical and confidential analyses, reviews.

Develops and formulates criteria for financial procedures and methods of analysis. Assists other departments in applying Company financial policies; analyses financial problems and develops solutions.

• Provides professional & technical expertise in the analysis of complex issues, problems & recommends solutions affecting treasury services. Keeps abreast of and analyses international economic and monetary data; identifies trends which may affect the Company, providing guidance to junior staff.
• Assists in formulation and implementation of Treasury policies and procedures to prevent or resolve problems. Follows up implemented changes to ensure the problem has been resolved.
• Directs, if serving as senior cash management analyst, the investment of temporarily surplus funds, and the portfolio management to assure adequate portfolio composition, liquidity, and rate of return. Develops short & intermediate term cash forecasts for both corporate and trustee requirements.
• Conducts periodic evaluations of conditions of Aramco's banks of account and other banks in which corporate or trustee funds are deposited.
• Participates in the development and administration of the Corporate Risk Management and Claims Program, if serving as senior insurance analyst. Assures Company compliance with US and SAG requirements for insurance as related to employee benefit plans.

• Strong preference for full or partial completion of these certifications; partial completion is equivalent to passing at least 1 level/part of the certification.
• Substantial background in areas of financial management & analysis, commercial law, taxation, investments, banking and foreign exchange.
• Strong knowledge of company activities, policies and programs.

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) – Preferred Certification in the areas of internal audit and practice.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Preferred. Reduce 2 yrs from min years of exp. on full accreditation in one of these certificates (CPA, CFA, ACCA, CMA).
• Assoc of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) – Preferred. Reduce 2 yrs from min years of exp. on full accreditation in one of these certificates (CPA, CFA, ACCA, CMA).
• Saudi Org of Certified Public Accountant (SOCPA) – Preferred. Certification in the areas of accounting and auditing standards.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) – Preferred. Reduce 2 yrs from min years of exp. on full accreditation in one of these certificates (CPA, CFA, ACCA, CMA).
• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) – Preferred.
