Position: Require a Chief Accountant

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)and
International Accounting Standards (IAS).
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounting records and General Ledger entries.
Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with both internal and external auditors.
Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and perform variance analysis to support business planning.
Prepare management reports and financial analyses to help drive business performance and decision-making.
Monitor profitability, cash flow, income, and expenses across the business.
Review bank reconciliations, financial reports, tax reports, and accounting documentation.
Oversee payment approvals and maintain strong financial controls.
Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities on financial matters.
Support the Group CFO with banking activities and local and international investment related transactions.
Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to the accounting team while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.

Requirements

MBA in Finance, Financial Accounting Management, Commerce, or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum3-5 years of experience
in managing or supervising finance and accounting functions.
Previous experience in the
financial services sector or similar industries
is highly preferred.
Professional certifications such as
SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA
will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of
financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, taxation, cash flow management, and internal controls
.
Hands on experience with
ERP and SAP accounting systems
.
Advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
High attention to detail, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and confidentiality.
