Role Purpose (Why this role exists)
The Freight Sales Executive is responsible for acquiring new freight customers, growing shipment volumes, and contributing profitable revenue across Air, Ocean, Road, and Multimodal freight, while strictly adhering to Jadeer’s pricing, margin, and service governance. This role is a front‑line revenue generator, focused on new business hunting, supported by Jadeer’s integrated logistics capabilities (transport, yards, warehousing, customs).
Key Accountabilities (What Success Looks Like)- New Business Development (Primary – 70%)
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new freight customers
- Build and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline (minimum 3× monthly target)
- Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and solution discussions
- Convert leads into profitable, repeat shipments
- Revenue & Volume Growth
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual freight revenue targets
- Grow shipment volumes (TEU / AWB / Truckloads) while protecting margin
- Focus on priority trade lanes (e.g., Asia‑KSA, EU‑GCC)
- Quoting & Commercial Discipline
- Prepare and submit freight quotations in coordination with the Pricing team
- Ensure all quotes meet minimum gross margin thresholds
- Follow pricing authority matrix and approval workflows
- Support RFQs and spot opportunities with accurate inputs
- Customer Relationship Management
- Act as primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Manage customer expectations in coordination with Operations
- Ensure smooth onboarding and first‑shipment experience
- Proactively resolve commercial issues before escalation
- Cross‑Selling Jadeer Services
- Transport & trucking
- Container yard / ISO tank
- Warehousing & distribution
- Customs clearance
- Position Jadeer as an integrated logistics partner, not a spot forwarder
