Job Description

The main task of a Product Specialist in J&J Innovative Medicine is to represent us in front of healthcare professionals, ensuring our products are used based on their own merit and clinical indications, while respecting all J&J Credo obligations. The Product Specialist promotes registered products within registered indications to increase our products' access in collaboration with other functions, detailing our product's value to serve more eligible patients.

You

Will Be Responsible For

Maximize patient share of assigned products through understanding the patient pathway, ensuring sales are maximized and all sales processes respect J&J compliance, quality guidelines, and local laws.

This Is Achieved Through
  • Use a multichannel approach to reach out to HCPs enlisted in his/her list (face to face, email, phone call, presentations when required, etc.) with the set quality and quantity according to CVT strategy, and provide quality call feedback for each visit.
  • Achieve market share target for the assigned territory.
  • Promote J&J Innovative Medicine's image as a scientific transformational digital innovator within his/her assigned accounts and organize promotional/digital scientific meetings.
Maximizing J&J Innovative Medicine's Access Reach Through
  • Full account mapping, understanding the logistical processes, product listing processes, contracting, account stakeholders and decision making processes within the account.
  • Develop and maintain long term engagements with customers/stakeholders within the accounts (e.g., Directors of Pharmacy, Senior Procurement Managers, Tender Managers, and Hospital Management).
  • Identify short and long term business opportunities according to the Business Unit strategy in collaboration with the Market Access team.
Ensuring Execution Excellence Through
  • Fulfill all Customer Interaction Excellence (CIE) index and KPIs within the agreed timelines, including updating the database, accurate reporting of visits to HCPs with valuable call feedback, correct sample handling, and continuous improvement of qualitative performance.
Maintain Updated Knowledge of Disease Areas, Products and Competitors Through
  • Achieve results in scientific quizzes organized by CVT according to the manager's expectations.
  • Attend all assigned training courses and capture learnings that demonstrate improvement in technical and ethical business practices.
  • Organize assigned activities respecting all compliance rules and using the correct CRM system as stipulated in related SOP.
Compliance with Set Guidelines, Policies and SOPs of J&J and of Local Regulation
  • Local laws & HCBI guidelines, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Policy of Business Conduct and other J&J policies.
  • Pharmacovigilance rules notifying within company regulations about adverse events & product quality complaints.
  • Quality and compliance practices.
  • Global fleet safety standard requirements and local traffic laws.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
