- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Ring Gaskets and sealing solutions.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, including end users, EPC contractors, and distributors.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads to achieve annual sales targets.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers.
- Develop sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Provide technical support and product recommendations for Ring Joint Gaskets (RTJ), Spiral Wound Gaskets, and other sealing products.
- Review customer specifications, drawings, and material requirements.
- Recommend suitable gasket materials based on pressure, temperature, and service conditions.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts such as operating companies, drilling contractors, and service companies.
- Conduct regular customer visits and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty issues professionally.
- Monitor customer requirements and identify future opportunities.
- Review RFQs, tenders, and technical specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and bid documents.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations and follow up until purchase order award.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and market intelligence updates.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Identify new projects and shutdown opportunities within the region.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market conditions and customer requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in Ring Gaskets, sealing products, flanges, or related Oil & Gas products.
- Strong understanding of:
- API 6A and API 17D standards.
- ASME B16.5 and ASME B16.20 standards.
- Ring Type Joint (RTJ) gaskets and flange applications.
- Materials such as Soft Iron, SS316, Inconel, Duplex, and other special alloys.
