- Conduct extensive field and laboratory research, meticulously collecting and analyzing insect specimens to understand their behavior, ecology, and impact.
- Identify and classify insect species using taxonomic keys and advanced techniques, ensuring accurate and up-to-date classifications.
- Design and execute experiments to study insect physiology, genetics, and interactions with their environment, contributing to cutting edge scientific knowledge.
- Develop and implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies, providing sustainable solutions for controlling insect populations in agricultural settings.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Biological Sciences (Entomology preferred).
- Knowledge of insect taxonomy, ecology, and pest control methods.
