GRE Field Technician 2nd Industrial

Job Description

Qualified and experienced GRE lining field tech for monitoring TK Liner installation. Tubular running services technician of GRE Liner operations and GRE Liner tubing Installation.

• Monitor Tubular running services of GRE TK Lining operations and GRE TK Lined tubing Installation.
• Perform inspection services at on/offshore installations and customer locations within KSA.
• Responsible to compile inspection reports / daily time sheet using the NOV databases.
• Support Lining production activities when not busy with RIH work.
• Support Tuboscope departments when not busy with RIH activities.
• Ensure all work equipment is used as per the manufacturers’ guidelines, it is maintained in a safe condition and report any deficiencies.
• Perform duties in accordance with QA, HSE, company procedures, instructions & guidelines.
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping within work area.
• Report job progress on daily basis to supervisor.

• Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum High School Graduate
• Past exposure to drilling rig / hoist operations
• Previous certification in magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, visual testing, electromagnetic inspection, and ultrasonic wall thickness testing
• Able to communicate at a high level with customers and vendors.
• Experience in OCTG and GRE lining operations.
• Able to read and interpret inspection procedures and standards in English.
• Strong work ethics with willingness to learn and absorb information.
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel, Word, etc.

• Diploma in mechanical engineering.
• Two plus years of OCTG inspection experience.
• Able to organize an inspection crew.
