GIS I&C supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic GIS I&C Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will participate in all activities required to enable switching systems to be successfully installed, repaired, and faults eliminated. You will be responsible for installation of high voltage systems worldwide for PGHV, represent PG in general and PGHV specifically at the installation site, and ensure deadlines and cost-performance ratios are met while adhering to the PG QA philosophy.

• Carrying out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensuring compliance with installation requirements and instructions and ensuring that accident prevention measures are observed.
• Responsible for red‑marking drawings and documents with any changes or modifications that become necessary during the installation.
• Advising the sub‑supplier's installation superintendent in planning and coordination of the workforce necessary to meet the schedule.
• Cooperating with the PG Project Manager on establishing status of completed and non‑completed work.
• Inspecting arriving material for completeness and damage and coordinating material handling within sub‑suppliers’ procedures.
• Issuing non‑conformance reports for damage or missing equipment within PG scope of supply in cooperation with the PG Project Manager.
• Supervising final installation & commissioning tests and PG installation completion documentation.
• Supervising and coordinating loop‑check activities and participating at site meetings as requested by the PG‑CH Project Manager.
• Responsible for the competent execution of tasks.
• Carrying out any tasks assigned by management necessary to fulfill job requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2‑5 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
• Previous experience with SF6 gas‑handling and PGHV transmission and sub‑transmission GIS product knowledge preferred.
• Capability to use MS Project professionally.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
