The Fire Fighting Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dammam. The technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and related life safety equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Daily tasks include performing routine preventive maintenance, identifying and troubleshooting system faults, and documenting all inspection and repair activities. The role involves coordinating with project teams and safety personnel to ensure that fire safety measures are correctly implemented and remain fully operational.

The technician also supports periodic safety drills, assists in training site staff on basic fire safety practices, and helps maintain compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and related life safety equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and identify and troubleshoot system faults.
• Document all inspection and repair activities in a clear and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with project teams and safety personnel to ensure fire safety measures are correctly implemented and remain operational.
• Support periodic safety drills and assist in training site staff on basic fire safety practices.
• Maintain compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

• Skills in fire extinguishers and fire safety, including inspection, maintenance, and proper handling.
• Skills in life safety and fire suppression systems, including installation, testing, and adherence to relevant codes.
• Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues with fire protection and safety systems.
• Knowledge of local fire codes, NFPA or equivalent standards, and safety regulations is beneficial.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in fire protection, safety, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail, record-keeping skills, and ability to work safely at active construction or industrial sites.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and inspectors.
