Super Asia Manpower Services is sourcing a skilled Batching Plant Electrician for a construction materials client in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The electrician will join a site-based operations team responsible for maintaining and servicing electrical systems of a concrete batching plant to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous production.
Primary Responsibilities- Carry out installation, inspection, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, control panels, motors, drives, sensors, PLCs and associated wiring used in batching plant operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, replace faulty components, and document maintenance activities and parts used.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in power distribution, motor control centers (MCC), starters, and variable frequency drives to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with mechanical technicians and plant supervisors to coordinate shutdowns, safety lockouts/tagouts and commissioning of new or repaired equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and PLC ladder logic; implement corrective wiring or program changes as required.
Must-have skills and experience:
- Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Technology, Electrician trade certificate, or equivalent hands‑on experience (minimum 3 years) in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Proven ability to install, maintain and repair 3‑phase power systems, MCCs, motors and starters used in batching plants.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical faults using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers and basic hand tools.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), soft starters and frequency control for conveyor and mixer motors.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, ladder logic basics, I/O wiring and ability to follow control schematics.
- Competence with electrical wiring standards, conduit work, cable terminations, and motor protection devices.
- Strong preventive maintenance practices and good documentation skills for maintenance logs and fault records.
- Physical fitness for on‑site work and adherence to PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Valid electrical safety training and manufacturer-specific VFD/PLC training.
