Performs maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of oilfield equipment and tools to ensure operational readiness and reliability. Supports field and workshop activities by diagnosing mechanical issues, maintaining asset integrity, and following Baker Hughes safety and quality procedures.

• A Mechanical Technician for surface facility installations performs the hands-on assembly, alignment, and maintenance of critical process equipment, including pumps, compressors, and pressure vessels.
• They are responsible for the precise installation of piping spools, valves, and structural support, ensuring all connections are leak-free and compliant with isometric drawings and ASME standards.
• By executing high-precision tasks such as shaft alignment, bolt tensioning, and hydrotesting, they guarantee the mechanical integrity of the facility's pressurized systems.
• Managing physical buildup of the plant, requiring expert use of specialized rigging and torque tools to ensure all static and rotating assets are mission ready.
• Liquid Mud Plant equipment repair and maintenance

• BSc/Diploma in relevant discipline
• 5 Years of experience within Liquid Mud Plant equipment operations

• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and operate oilfield equipment safely and efficiently.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in field environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
• Focus on equipment reliability, quality, and asset integrity.
• Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
