We are currently seeking a BIM Lead with a minimum of 5 years (6-8 years preferred) of Revit experience to join our Capistrano Beach, California office. This position offers great opportunity for BIM Coordinators naturally a great deal around equipment planning and often choose to grow into planning/drawing hybrid roles.

The BIM Lead position requires an ability to read and understand architectural space programs as well as architectural drawings of all levels, from programming/schematic design to as-built construction documents. Basic understanding of mechanical, structural, plumbing and electrical systems is also expected.

Candidates should also have proficiency in, or willingness to learn Revit, Bluebeam, Attainia, Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Autodesk Forma, Content Catalog, Copilot and Claude is preferred.

Strong customer service skills and the ability to interface effectively with executive-level clients, project team members and other team members are also a requirement.

This position entails occasional travel to project sites, satellite offices and client offices. Ability to be on project sites is a requirement of this role.

Our clients are healthcare providers and sometime may require proof of vaccination to be allowed on certain project sites.

• Develop equipment placement drawings/schedules in Revit reflecting equipment specified in the medical equipment list
• Attend client and user group meetings (in-person and virtual) to update drawings in real time
• Update Revit families to align with project-specific details
• Build custom Revit families when existing families are unavailable
• Participate in QA/QC process involving reconciling the equipment list against the drawings
• Attend project site visits, as required
• Ongoing drawing coordination throughout the design and construction phases
• Train and mentor staff on BIM/Revit processes and standards
• Manage and maintain the Revit family library
• Enforce company drawing standards and templates
• Evaluate and pilot emerging tools, including software and AI
• Improve BIM workflows and processes
• Attend industry events, such as conferences, seminars and trade shows, to network and stay informed on current and future products and technology
