The Grocery / Refrigeration Clerk at Mother’s Market supports the daily operations of the Grocery and Refrigeration departments by maintaining well‑stocked, organized, and high‑quality product displays. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service while ensuring product freshness, accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards. Grocery / Refrigeration Clerks represent Mother’s Market values and contribute to a welcoming, wellness‑focused shopping experience.

$17-$21/hour

• Stock, rotate, and face grocery and refrigerated products according to company standards
• Ensure proper dating, freshness, and temperature control of refrigerated items
• Maintain clean, organized shelves, coolers, and backroom areas
• Assist customers with product location, questions, and recommendations
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to leadership
• Remove expired, damaged, or unsellable products promptly
• Support accurate inventory practices and shrink reduction efforts
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and food‑handling standards
• Promote Mother’s Market values, including wellness, sustainability, and community
• Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth store operations

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous grocery or retail experience is a plus, but not required
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
