$75,000.00 - $ per year

The fleet mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostic testing and repairs on a growing variety of vehicles and vehicle systems. Vehicles will include sedans, pick-up trucks, service vans, utility trucks, and utility trucks with cranes, straight trucks, bobtails, tractors, trailers, dump trucks and construction equipment. Vehicle systems will include a/c, brakes, electrical, power train, suspension, tires, computer systems, metering systems, piping and tanks.

• Maintain outstanding customer service at all times
• Ensure the consistency and quality of each task performed
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnosis and repairs on all fleet vehicles and equipment
• Perform all aspects of vehicle repairs by using various types of diagnostics and testing equipment
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of the area where work is performed
• Clearly communicate details of the vehicle service to the Fleet Manager
• Neatly and completely fill out service paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience preferred but willing to train the right candidates
• Able to use hand tools, air tools and power tools
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Able to work well under pressure and tight dead lines
• Work in accordance with established safety procedures

• $75,000.00 - $ per year
• Pay is based on experience
