Location:
Fairfield County, CT
Project Size: $10M – $100M
Compensation: $90,000 – $160,000
What You’ll Be Doing:- Lead all day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals
- Serve as the primary safety leader on site, enforcing compliance and driving a strong safety culture
- Manage general conditions budgets, site services, and jobsite logistics
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and field work plans
- Lead contractor meetings, daily huddles, stretch & flex, and pre-task planning
- Maintain accurate daily field reporting and documentation using construction software
- Oversee Quality in Construction (QIC) planning and execution with Operations Excellence
- Coordinate material deliveries and labor needs through Site Services / Next
150 - Train, mentor, and manage Superintendents and Field Engineers
- Support preconstruction, scope development, buyout activities, and T&M tracking
- Collaborate with project management, owners, and business development to support project delivery and client relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
- 5–15 + years of experience on commercial or industrial projects $10M–$100M
- Proven experience supervising project teams and multiple trades
- OSHA 30 certification (required); STS-C and safety certifications preferred
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, and cost control
- Familiarity with Pull Planning and modern scheduling practices
- High level of construction document and drawing literacy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-standard construction software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to building a “safety first” jobsite culture
